The Edmonton Coliseum opened its doors when the WHA's Edmonton Oilers defeated the Cleveland Crusaders 4-1. Ron Buchanan scored the historic first goal, with Hall of Famer Jacques Plante earning the win in net.

Final Game - April 6, 2016

The Oilers closed the building in style, defeating the Vancouver Canucks 6-2. Leon Draisaitl scored the final goal, with Cam Talbot as the winning goaltender.
