Ales Hemsky "The Empty Netter That Wasn't" Signed and Hand Drawn Play Northlands Coliseum Seatback
On January 4, 2007, with seconds remaining and Dallas holding a 5-4 lead Patrick Stefan steals a misplayed puck at the Oilers blueline and coasts towards an empty net to close out the game. Stefan fans on his shot and misses the net. Jarret Stoll grabs the loose puck and fires a stretch pass up to Petr Sykora. The puck bounces off Sykora's blade, Ryan Smyth picks it up in the Dallas zone and centers the puck to a streaking Ales Hemsky. With 2 seconds remaining Hemsky puts a move on Marty Turco and backhands it across the line to knot the game at 5.
Ales Hemsky has hand drawn the play on this Coliseum seatback and added his autograph.
Signing has been done on an original seatback from the legendary old barn that was witness to the WHA and NHL from 1974 - 2016, including 5 Stanley Cup Championship teams.
NOTE: Each seatback has been cleaned, but they do show the wear of 40 plus seasons of hockey.
AUTHENTICITY
This Seatback is hand signed by Ales Hemsky and will deliver with an individually numbered tamper-evident hologram from Pro Am Sports. To ensure authenticity the hologram can be reviewed online.
