Carlton Fisk Boston Red Sox Limited Edition /500 Framed Reproduction Scorecard and Ticket Stub.
October 21, 1975
In game 6 of the 1975 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and Cincinnti Red, Carlton Fisk hit a home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game for the Red Sox and tie the series at 3 games apiece. It is widley considered one of the greatest baseball games of all time, and the shot of Fisk waving his arms to the right, in an attempt to coax his home run ball to "stay fair" has become an iconic moment in baseball's history.
This piece comes framed in a 23x39 frame, and features licensed reproductions of both the official game scorecard, and a ticket stub from game 6 of the 75 World Series. It also features photos of Carlton Fisk both hitting his iconic home run, and his subsequent "arm waving" at the ball as it sailed away.
This piece is a Limited Edition, and is numbered out of 500.
