Mark Messier Private Signing

Pro Am Sports is proud to present a Private Signing with Six Time Stanley Cup Champion Mark Messier.

Messier was born in Edmonton and played his Junior hockey with the Spruce Grove Mets and St. Albert Saints of the AJHL. He was selected in the 3rd round, 48th overall in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft by his hometown Edmonton Oilers. Prior to joining the Oilers he played in the last season of the WHA as an 18 year old. He played 5 games with the Indianapolis Racers. After the Racers folded he signed with with the Cincinnati Stingers as a free agent playing in 47 games. 

He would play 12 seasons with the Oilers finishing with 851 games played, and 1034 points. He was a 5 time Stanley Cup Champion, 1984 Conn Smythe, and 1990 Hart Trophy winner. 

Messier Captained the Oilers from 1988-89 thru the 1990-91 seasons. 

In October of 1991 he was traded to the New York Rangers and would go on to Captain the Rangers to their first Stanley Cup victory in 54 years in 1994. 

He retired in 2004 with 1756 Games Played, 628 Goals, and 1104 assists. He remains in the top 10 in NHL history in Games Played, Goals, Assists, and Points.

Messier played for Canada in three Canada Cup tournaments (84, 87, 91) and the first World Cup in 1996. 

In recognition of his contributions to hockey, Messier was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007. His legacy continues to inspire future generations of players, reflecting his passionate commitment to the game and his enduring impact on professional hockey.

AUTHENTICITY
Your item will be hand signed by Mark Messier and will deliver with an individually numbered tamper-evident hologram from Pro Am Sports. To ensure authenticity the hologram can be reviewed online.
